Have you heard of Flat Stanley? It is a book about a paper character who travels around the world, visiting different places and different people. A lot of kids do a project in school where they send Stanley to a relative who writes about Stanley's adventures and returns it to the original student. It introduces different states, etc to the kids. I was missing Sunday night dinner, so I sent Flat Bev to Vic and Gil so I would always be there for Sunday dinner. I addressed the envelope wrong TWICE, so Flat Bev traveled to OH and back before I reached their house! (Yes, it was 2 times I misaddressed the envelope). I not only attend dinner, but birthday partys, too. Here I am at Angie's house for Nate's birthday party I'm posing with the family, eating cake and drinking pop! Vicki is knitting me a blanket to keep warm. She was working on it when they visited! There are lots of ways to keep in touch!
